Brief outline of the project

This Project covers the training of teachers and the purchase, installation, support and operation of computer and network equipment in 69 small and remote secondary schools, sensuring network connections in areas with no Internet provider.

The Project is divided into four units:

  • Training of teachers and students using five mobile computer labs.
  • Expansion of the TILEMACHUS I network.
  • Improvement of services provided under TELEMACHUS I.
  • Motivation of local communities to facilitate the further expansion of this network.

The Project also includes the creation of five mobile computer labs for the training of teachers and students as well as the development of models of teaching practice and technological infrastructure for these schools.
