Brief outline of the project |

The objective of this Project is the pilot development of computer and web technologies in 14 primary schools in the following areas: Attica, Larisa, Volos, Rethymno and Heraklion. These schools have been equipped with computer labs, which are connected to an Intranet system and to the Internet. A programme sensuring the training of teachers in these schools is being implemented, and covers both technical and general subjects.. |  |

At the same time new educational software had been developed within the framework of the Project. In this way the Nisi ton Faiakon Project had provided an opportunity for the development and accumulation of experience that will be useful in the broader development of computer and network technologies in Primary Education. | |
